Hesam Salehbeig (they/them) received their BA in Architecture and is currently pursuing an MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Performance. They work across multiple disciplines including film and video, visual arts, sound, architecture, theater and performance. Their works are healing experiences investigating the “void” and exploring the sense of being “in-between” consciousness and unconsciousness. These interactive transcendental pieces are built upon meditative techniques based on various materials from eastern mysticism and western psychoanalysis. They have shown their works in the USA, UK, Spain, Denmark, Austria and Iran.
